Made with Love

Just a mix collection of my own personal stamps and commisioned ones.

I paid my little brother to help me mount some of them. I'm sure he's happy to earn extra pocket money to school.

Thing is, I am always attached to each work that I do. Everytime I finished a stamp it feels so hard to let it go. This is the reason why I made a card printed with care and handling tips to go along with sold stamps.

To those who bought stamps from me, please take a really good care of your stamp k!

I know what you mean by letting go! You put so much time and effort into it to only lose it in the end. I think that's the magic in making something special, when it's nothing to do with business but comes from the heart and soul.

When I think about money when I'm sculpting or just drawing, I'm always not satisfied with the end product. But when I just lose myself in my work, I'm happy but the thought of letting go makes me feel otherwise. Haha!

Oh, they all looks so beautiful. No wonder you have a hard time letting them go. Your stamps have a very special spot on my desk. I take super extra special care of them. Don't you worry a bit.

You're so talented. And I can tell you do it with passion. When you do something with passion, it's hard to let go. I would have the same hard time to let go too if I were you.

Joyce..

Hehe...know what? Many times after I have wrapped my stamps...I unwrapped it again for one last look before I seal it in the envelope. Then I would pray in my heart for the stamp safety before I drop it in the box at the post office, and that the new owner will love and take a good care of it.

Yes...yes...being paid to do things that we love is great! But sometimes it feels like sacrificing our favourite work! Things about handmade is, eventhough we can make new ones but each one will never be the same!

Bethany,

Oh I am so glad that they are taken with extra special care. Thank you so much! I'm also happy thinking that my stamps are on your desk together with those vietnam handmade stamps! I really adore them!

CAHAYA,

Recently, I wrote on my Facebook...something about feeling stressed. The next day, my mother-in-law writes on my wall, suggesting that I should do things that makes me happy everytime I start to feel tensed. For her, she likes to get her hair washed at saloon, and she suggested me to get a massage too. I can't think of anything else but carving stamps! And I did, I carved 7 new stamps in two days!

I hope this passion will keep on burning. You know lah, as human, we can get bored easily.

Kak Nana,

Sampai hari ni I still wondering macammana rupa kerosakan stamp panda tu. Masa terima email Soulie yang bagitau stamp dia rosak, rasa panas sejuk panas sejuk badan ni. Takut tak boleh produce yang serupa! Tapi, really you guys gaduh cam tu skali? Hahahahahaha.

TQ kak Nana! Part gifted tu hanya dapat dinilai dari kacamata orang lain...dan kalau betul Oh sangatlah bersyukur!
