Yeah. The Asian mentality of the 'stable' job. It's frustrating that it feels like a leash on your neck but there's logic to it. I'd rather do what I love though. :)

hmm...sound familiar. But ive come to realized, tht if my parents were the other way around.., byk puji, easily impressed, murah pujian..i dont think I'll be where I am today. mesti jadi org malas who dont bother to work so hard n instead membadak dan rasa diri dah mcm bagus.
Parents needs convincing. One 'no' and ure already giving up only translates to 'ure not tht into it'. Come on, if we really really really wants something, u really think our parents cld stop us??
after 18, i believe everyone's responsible for their own future decision. sure, parents cld be our guide. but they're humans too. n boy arent 'humans' famously related to 'mistakes'
