Fliffy asked me if I can design label sticker for her and I asked her back whether she would like to have a rubber stamp too...so she can chop...chop...chop on her scrapbook and papercrafts. She said yes! I'm so happy that she asked me to make a sticker design for her, but I'm far more happier when she said she want the stamp. Of course, I made some drafts first and show it to her before she agreed.
She likes Candies for Three which I made for kak Emila, and asked me if I can make "candies" for her too. She even told me that her favourite colors are pink, orange and white. Do visit her blog, I think this pretty lady is a very inspiring, creative dedicated scrapper. I enjoy looking at the digital layouts and papercrafts she posted in her blog. I believe the sticker I made for her is nothing compared to all her wonderful digital creations, but how sweet of her, she still give chance to traditional illustrator like me.

Ya memang betul. Rasanya produk mangosteenskin yang saya beri priority untuk diketengahkan adalah custom made rubber stamps. Sebab membuat sebijik rubber stamp itu lebih cepat daripada membuat sekeping ATC. Lagipun saya suka main pisau. Hahahahahahaa.

they're just ordinary erasers. I've tried many brands before, including the soft and good quality erasers like faber castell and staedler. they're expensive but easy to find, right?
i'm not sure in KL but here i never seen this erasers sold in big stationary store or mall. this type has no brand and i bought them at a small shop selling dolls, stickers and mixed product from china. usually the eraser got cartoon2 on the wrapper. some of them got nice smell.

those inks are especially for stamp. but here in KK x ada jual crafters stamp, yg pakai di opis2 adalah. ink yang ada sekarang semua import dr KL. haha. kak ida tolong beli di craft haven, ciyou pula tolong beli d kinokuniya.

puratanya satu stamp yang ringkas boleh disiapkan kurang daripada sejam, tapi semua bergantung kepada design jugak. macam fliffy punya ini, mengambil masa satu jam setengah.

u mean the big piece of erraser u buy from a small shop selling dolls, stickers and mixed product from china? How big is the erraser??
I try using those small small cheap erraser to carve, but maybe because the quality, some will chip beside the cutting.
the size of eraser i use is 2.8 x 4.8cm. there's another one slightly bigger but not easy to find big erasers.
i never tried those which can be bought cheap in bulk. my tips; AVOID erasers which is too hard (sometimes this type chip easily n have powdery texture)and too soft (easily torn). u need to experiment with different type of erasers so u know the difference.
practice ur carving technique so u can produce good cutting and more durable stamps.
